How PodToo Works, How We Earn Revenue
At PodToo, we believe you should always know exactly how much you'll earn from each audiobook sale. Here's how it works:
- Set Your Earnings: You specify how much you want to earn per sale. For example, if you want to earn $10 for each audiobook sold, you enter that amount.
- Platform Fee: PodToo adds a 10% platform fee to your desired earnings. Using the example above, if you want to earn $10, PodToo sets the sale price to $11, keeping $1 as our platform fee.
- Retail Partner Commission: Our retail partners take a 50% commission from the sale price. To cover this, we double the total amount. So, the $11 becomes $22.
- Final SRP Price: With this method, the final Suggested Retail Price is set to $22. This ensures that after all fees and commissions, you receive your desired $10 per sale.
